They come in stylish designs and be painted in whichever colour you choose in order to go with your chosen décor in your new office. Being attached to the wall they are good for saving space which is especially important in an office environment where space is key. A panel electric heater is also silent which is also important in workplace environments where it is crucial for staff not to be distracted so that productivity is maintained.

Ultimately, you will find that they effectively warm a room whilst energy saving and looking fantastic. You can buy your electric panel heater from various online retailers at affordable prices. We found it was ideal for under the desk for keeping the feet and body warm, with only 500W of output it did not burn and was the perfect amount.

The main intention of the Dimplex Skirting Convector Heater is to be mounted in areas where wall space is a premium. Examples would include in conservatories and play houses. Different Types Of Heating

Different Types Of Heating

There are many different heaters to choose from, however all heaters falls into four different categories. Each category of heating has its own advantages and disadvantages, it is always important to ensure to choose the correct type of heating for your home or business.

Firstly it is important to understand why the choice of heater can have such an impact. In the end it comes down to not power, but where the heater is and how it is used. For example if you have a large living room or office you do not want a heater that only heats directly in front of it. On the other hand to keep a section of room warm and be economic you do not want a heater which will fill the room with heat.

The first type of heater, the most common, is the convector heater. In a convection heater, the heating element heats the air next to it by conduction. Hot air is less dense than cool air, so it rises due to buoyancy, allowing more cool air to flow in to take its place. This sets up a constant current of hot air that leaves the appliance through vent holes and heats up the surrounding space.

The second type is the radiant heater. Radiant heaters contain a heating element that reaches a high temperature. The element is usually packaged inside a glass envelope resembling a light bulb and with a reflector to direct the energy output away from the body of the heater.

The third type is the storage heaters. A storage heating system takes advantage of cheaper electricity prices, sold during low demand periods such as overnight.

The final type of heating is the A fan heater is a variety of convection heater that includes an electric fan to speed up the airflow. This reduces the thermal resistance between the heating element and the surroundings, allowing heat to be transferred more quickly.

It is possible to have heaters which combine different types of heater together to increase the power for use of a heater. An example would be a storage heater with a boot option; the boost option is normally an extra fan which temperately turns on to boost the heat in the room.

The advantage of having multiple types of heating built into one is the increased versatility. Whereas most heating types have their limitations, by combining heating methods and types you remove restrictions that would normally cost a heater.

You must take into account where the heater will be placed. Heaters that are not in direct view need to spread the warmth in the room and not heat directly. If you choose a high powered heater and misuse how it was indented you can put yourself at risk.

Dimplex Girona Glass Fronted Electric Panel Heater

Dimplex Girona Glass Fronted Electric Panel Heater

The Dimplex Girona Glass Fronted Electrical Panel Heater is one of the few electrical panel heaters on the market today that offer a stylish glass front. The Dimplex GFP (Girona Fronted Panel) heater is unique with a simplistic but striking design and high performance convector heating.

There is no denying the Dimplex Girona is the most stylish and modern of all the electrical convector heaters. With a white or black glass front the Dimplex Girona offers an innovative and stylish alternative to other “bulky” convector heaters.

The Dimplex Girona also has a surprising range of wattages to choose from. The Dimplex Girona range varies from 500W (0.5kW) to a powerful 2,000W (2.0kW). With a large variety of heating wattages, and a selection between white or black glass front, the Dimplex Girona has a fitting purpose in any modern home.

It is often that people believe the Dimplex Girona is just a pretty face for the modern home. However Dimplex has made sure the Girona was not just an innovation in style but a major player for the development of better heating. With its simplistic design we had no idea the Dimplex Girona had inbuilt controls hidden just behind the main face. These controls had a sensitive electronic thermostat capable of control the room temperature to within 0.3 of a degree centigrade.

With its highly sophisticated control system we were concerned for the usability of the Dimplex Girona. Once again Dimplex has proved they can truly put themselves in customers shoes, the controls were simple to use and adding in optional extras (such as the plug-in control programmers) was a breeze.

We then tested the Dimplex Girona for comfort, style, heating ability and usability. With its highly sensitive thermostat controller the Girona made maintaining the temperate a worry of the past. Even manually changing the heat around the Girona to force a shift, the Dimplex Girona was quick to react. In a practical application this proved that the Dimplex Girona would easily handle sharp changes in the temperature. For example opening doors to the outside and letting in cold air, or even the sun coming out and heating the room. With this highly responsive thermostat you could easily and quickly set the temperate to your own preference and know it will not only maintain that heat but react to changes in the environment.

The style of the Dimplex Girona is unmistakably some of the best styling we have seen on an electrical convector panel heater. Sleek looks and a modern feel. Too often a heater can ruin the look and feel of a room. The Girona works around your style to blend in as a piece of the furniture.

With the heating and usability the Dimplex Girona is an investment. Few heaters can match the Girona for power, control and ease of use. Even less convector heaters have the capability of expansion, with plug-in controls available and the capability to link the Girona Panel Heaters together, the Girona excels in these areas with grace and style.

We highly recommend the Dimplex Girona Glass Fronted Electric Panel Heater. To purchase the Dimplex Girona please visit e-tradecounter - Dimplex Girona Electric GFP Heater.
