Linking Dimplex Heaters Together

Linking Dimplex heaters together is a simple and easy exercise. One of the key selling points of the Dimplex range is the flexibility when it comes to connection and linking. One common concern many home and business owners have is how to control all these electronic heaters.

This is where the Dimplex range and manufacturing is years ahead of competitors. Not only is it easy to link all manner of different heaters and styles but it is also ideal for controlling the home or business heating all from one central point.

There are a massive number of ways you can connect different Dimplex heaters. Ranging from wires to wireless, to controllers to master slave set ups. It is quick and easy to link Dimplex heaters together and we hope to open some new options up to you.

Linking Dimplex Heaters Together: Pilot Wire Interface Unit,
What makes this solution so unique is the fact you connect up the heaters via the pilot wire, effectively you daisy chain all the heaters together to the central interface unit. From here you can control via one heater or even link the whole system to a controller. This option gives you more options in the long run however it does take longer to set up. Linking Dimplex Heaters Together: Mains Borne Signalling (MBS) Receiver Unit,
Mains borne signalling or MBS for short is an amazing solution to controlling the heating around the building. Again every solution has its pros and cons. In this situation the MBS is required for every heater; each heater in the house would need its own one. The solution works by converting MBS into a signal which is transferred down the pilot wire. You can link heaters via the pilot wire which then connects to a MBS receiver unit. View the Mains Borne Signalling (MBS) Receiver Unit (SKU: RX03002).

Linking Dimplex Heaters Together: Radio Transmitter,
The Dimplex Radio Transmitter is a two part set, you need to purchase two different units. One controller and one receiver, the other down side is this is currently only for the Dimplex Towel Rails. However it is still a solution and by far the easier to install and use. The radio waves mean no wires or connections flying around the room. Simple to use and install it is ideal for controlling the Towel Rail via a controller without risking the controller been damaged or been damp in the bathroom. This also means you can link all towel rails to one controller for total control over the bathroom heating. View the Towel Rail Controller - Radio Transmitter (SKU: RFBT).

Linking Dimplex Heaters Together: PIR Occupancy Detector Control,
By far the best automated control, the PIR detects movement and thus turns on the heater. If you have a room of heaters and only need it on during set times when in use, then this is the ideal solution. You can pre program the time, heat and setback temperature. You can have the heater running a set temperature and then increase when the PIR is activated by any kind of moment. This makes it ideal for energy saving and practical application use.
