The latest feature to be added to our product pages is a new tabbed labelled Price matrix. The Price Matrix is the latest feature of e-tradecounter to enable easy price checking and comparison of product variants.
Currently to view a products price to you go through the drop downs selecting the options you want. However if you want to compare the prices without needing to check every possibility of the drop downs you can now use the price matrix.
A prime example of the price matrix in use is on the Dimplex PLX page, with over 25 variants it can be confusing which one to go for. This is not helped by the fact not every wattage is available in white as well as the control options change based on colour and output. So how you can compare the products you want.
The price matrix will display every SKU matched with a short description (i.e. 0.5kW - Thermostat + 24H Timer – White) with the price including vat. Also next to each variant is an add to cat button.
Now you can easily check our prices and compare different variants as you see fit. With the new price matrix you can easily buy variants without having to use the drop down menus. If you know the SKU or product you are looking for the drop down menu can slow you down, now you can go direct to the price matrix.
The add to cart button has been popping up all over the site. You can add products directly to the cart from the search results and now from the price matrix too.
Another helpful tip if you are using Google Chrome as your browser you can change your default search provider under options. You should be able to change your default provider to e-tradecounter. What this means is you can highlight any text on any site and right click it, select search on e-tradecounter. Then you will be taken to a pay with the search results for whatever text you had highlighted.
Not all products have a price matrix single products do not have a price matrix as they do not have any selections to be made.
